BOTOX®and DYSPORT®
BOTOX® and DYSPORT® are both injectables that reduce the appearance of wrinkles by relaxing the muscles under the skin.
How BOTOX® Works
BOTOX® targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines, crow's feet and forehead lines. The reason why, as we age, we see these appear is repeated frowning, squinting, smiling, and resigning the eyebrows.
Once BOTOX® is injected into the skin it temporarily blocks nerve signals the cause muscles to contract. The result is muscle relaxation which can help reduce the appearance of aging and wrinkles.
How DYSPORT® Works
Like BOTOX®, DYSPORT® works by blocking nerve impulses from reaching targeted muscles. Stopping these impluses minimizes the use of those muscles which causes them to relax and gradually smooth out the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
It is well known for working effectively on glabellar lines (vertical likes that appear between the eyesbrows)
