What Is It?

Unlike BOTOX®, JUVÉDERM® is injected into the skin, not the muscles, thus addressing tissue volume loss. JUVÉDERM® contains a modified form of hyaluronic acid, which is a substance that naturally exists in the body. Hyaluronic acid is known for its ability to retain water and create volume. It works by attracting water molecules to the area, which helps plump up the skin and smooth away any wrinkles and folds. the process also stimulates collagen production which is important for maintaining a youthful appearance.
